Phenotypes are arranged by amount of IL-2 production; naïve cells (CD27+ CD28+ CD45RA+) were not analyzed as they are not expected to make IFNγ. Error bars represent SEM. Results are shown for the response of HIV-negative subjects to pp65+IE-1 stimulation (top), the response of HIV-positive subjects to pp65+IE-1 stimulation (middle), and the response of HIV-positive subjects to Gag+Env stimulation (bottom).
