Expression of p27 capsid and reverse transcriptase of the SHIVenv_B in the transfection supernatant from 293T cells. SIV p27 was monitored by antigen capture assay in the supernatant of 293T cells transfected with pREC_SHIVKB9env_B (B1, B3, B4, B11, B14, B17 and B20) (a). Reverse transcriptase activity was also measured using serial dilutions of the supernatant from the same transfected cells. RT activity is report as virtual TCID50 as previously described (b) [22].
